Okay, so we're in crunch time with 8 weeks left and we still need to find a pediatrician! I've been told the best way to find one is to ask around to friends and family, get recommendations, and then narrow it down from there. I know a bunch of you are moms out there so do any of you have any recommendations? We'd really appreciate the help, it's all a little overwhelming!

I really liked my ped doc in vegas. She was with SW Medical on Tenaya. Her name isn't coming to me right now... I'll let you know if it does. Sorry.
Yep, those were all me. I thought it wasn't working but it posted the dang comment 5 times! Sorry.
Kayden's peditrician is Dr. Weiner (Weyner). He works at 3 different locations, but the one I go to is on Tenaya and Cheyenne. It's in the medical building by Mountain View Hospital. He's with a group called Desert Pediatrics.
My pediatrician is great. I've never waited more than 5 minutes, he fills some prescriptions right there in his office for free and he really cares about his patients. I think he visited me like 3 or 4 times in the hospital when I had my last one. His name is Dr. Nishihara at Meadows Pediatrics. He's located at Summerlin Hospital. I tried 2 other pediatricians before him but I've had him for a few years now.

I go to Noah Kohn right next to Summerlin Hospital. He is very smart and very efficiant, but sometimes comes off as a know it all. But I don't care as long as he takes care of my girls. Oh and he is a big dork. HAHA..but I like him :)
You can meet with Peds. a head of time. Try that. I went and met with a couple before I picked Kohn.
I love our Ped. Dr. Tony Bakerink with Wee Care Pediatrics. 889-8444He is off of Durango and Tropicanca. He was the one all of the mom's at my OB loved.
I love Nicci's ped. He is super careful and watches for everything! She had reconstructive skull surgery and he has been so good with her and follows up so well, and calls ME to see how she is! He even gave me his personal number if we had any problems. I Love him! His name is Heith Hodapp. He sees patients in Summerland i think but we see him at St. Rose Pediatrics. It up on Eastern and...um...i dunno! haha. its past horizon ridge i know that! I can get back to you on that. but no, he's great and NOT only that, but the other Dr.s in the office are AMAziNG, so if he's ever not in and you have an emergency, they are all so capable and kind. So I know I've never met you and I'm not a mom yet, but I've worked with many pediatricians at Summerlin Hospital. Some of the excellent peds that I worked with are Kohn, Bakerink, Nishihara (he's very anal but when it's about your kids, that's what you want right?), and Lepore (I'm trying to decide between the last two - - such a hard decision.) My pediatrician is awesome, a majority of the nurses at my job use him also. his name is James McGhee. He is all the way out in henderson though.
I remembered!!! Her name is Anita Henderson. Have you seen any of these people yet? I got lucky. I just picked this ped and happened to really like her. I didn't have to do all of the interviewing. It sounds like you've got lots of good info here though. Good luck.
