David's Grandma Claire returned from her mission in Indiana last week so we made the trek up to Manila, Utah (Flaming Gorge area) to see her. This was the first time Sadie got to meet her great grandma, since she was born while Claire was serving her mission. It was a nice trip besides the 8 hours of screaming on the way there...
About an hour and a half after we left Vegas...
6 hours after we left Vegas, still screaming...
Thankfully we didn't drive the entire way, we stopped in Salt Lake and stayed the night with my aunt and uncle and drove the rest of the way on Friday.
Saturday morning David, Sadie, and I went fishing up at Browne Lake. It was really a lot of fun, it was so quiet and peaceful and just a nice get-away for our family. I am happy to announce that we actually caught our limit!!! Amazing! AND they were A LOT bigger than the miniature minnow David caught at Tule Springs a couple months ago! lol!
I caught all my fish BEFORE Sadie woke up...
It's hard to feel the fish bite when the baby's playing with your fishing pole!=)
Sadie had so much fun! It was cold but she was such a happy little fishergirl!
My studly fisherman!
Yay Daddy!
Mmm...slimy, smelly fish!!!
Grandma Claire spoke in church on Sunday. She gave a great talk, even though I heard it from the foyer! (Sadie's favorite time to talk is during sacrament meeting and she can get pretty loud!) After church we had a luncheon at the park and were able to visit with family. It was great to see our family since we only get to see them about once a year.
Welcome home Grandma!
For those of you wondering about the trip home, Sadie slept just about the entire trip! Yay!=)

I'm sure it wasn't funny at the time, but those pictures are hilarious! Glad you guys had a fun trip!
How fun. Except the screaming trip to get there. I have never ever been fishing in my entire life. I don't think I could ever touch the worm to put it on the hook.
Sounds like it was fun, minus the screaming. Hey i just wanted to say Happy Birthday, since it's coming up this week, before i forgot. Have a great one!
