This is actually her second haircut, I gave her a little trim a month or so ago, but I cut A LOT more this time. This is what happens when you expect a one year old to hold still! As soon as I started snipping she jerked her head sideways, here is the end result...

It's a good thing she's too young for this to be a traumatic experience for her! She can't hate me for it, all she knows is that she doesn't have hair hanging in her eyes anymore! =) Next time I'm cutting her hair while she's sleeping in her carseat, live and learn!

I still think its cute!!! Tee hee hee!
I can't believe how much of a big girl she looks like!!! They are growing up way tooooo fast!!
That is too funny! She looks so much older now! I won't have to cut Ellie's hair for a LONG time.
She looks cute with the little bangs. I like them. I can't believe I'm going to have a kid soon. I'm so excited but scared too. Your little girl is adorable Amber. We need to get together sometime.
You should have called me! I would have trimmed her bangs for you. You didn't do too bad :)She is still adorable as ever.
That is so funny! When I cute Lydia's hair for the first time a sucker worked wonders. She is a dang cute little girl, You should make another one. :)
I think it looks good, but this is one area where I am extremely grateful to have boys. Now that Max is two we can just take electric clippers to his hair, but even when they are younger it doesn't matter much. My boys both had a good amount of hair so we had to cut it really early. In fact on my blog is Garren's 1st haircut and he's only 5 months!

LOVE AUNTIE JEN
At least she hasn't figured it out how to cut it herself yet! I am impressed you even tried to do it yourself - you are much braver than me. I won't even cut Danny's hair - and he PROMISES not to wiggle :) She is quite the cute little girl.
