I feel like I've been neglecting this baby on the blog! When I was pregnant with Sadie I was always posting about the pregnancy and the random thoughts I had about her and the random comments people would make to me about being pregnant. I guess that comes with the excitement of the first baby AND not having to chase around a 21 month old! So this post is going to be dedicated to our soon-to-be in our arms brand new baby girl. This pregnancy seems to have flown by but at the same times seems like it's taking forever. The picture posted at the top is my baby bump at 32 weeks. I know I may not look very big, but how I look and how I feel are two totally different things! Compared to my pregnancy with Sadie this one has been a little more rough. I've had some really bad lower back/pelvic pain since June that comes and goes depending on how active I've been and how much I've been hefting Sadie. I've also had A LOT of INTENSE heartburn + acid reflux which has been very enjoyable if you can imagine! But other than those two things, I love being pregnant! It's so miraculous to me every time I feel her move around in her tight quarters! That's the part I missed the most after I had Sadie was feeling her move around inside my belly. This baby is definitely a mover and a shaker! I tell David that I think she's practicing aerobics and gymnastics, with a little bit of kickboxing thrown in here and there. She is already an active little one!
We went to the Dr. this morning and we were able to have another ultrasound. The ultrasound tech was amzaing. She did a 3-D ultrasound and we got to see the baby's face and she is adorable! She already has the cutest little chubby cheeks that you just want to cover with kisses. Of course she decided as soon as I laid down on the table that she was ready for a nap and wanted to rest her face on her arm, but with a little poking and prodding from the ultrasound tech we were able to get some good pictures of her. Sadie was so excited. She kept saying "Baby! Cute!" and pointing at the screen and then at my tummy. Then we'd ask her if it was her baby sister and she'd say "YES! Cute!" It was definitely one of those precious family moments to treasure.
We also found out that she already weighs about 5 lbs 1 oz, which if you don't know at 32 weeks babies are usually weighing in around the 4 lb mark. They took her measurements and overall she's measuring at 35 weeks so she'll probably be making her appearance around Thanksgiving, which is 3 weeks earlier than expected! We are SO excited and can't wait to meet her when she gets here!

YAY!!!! I'm so happy for you! :) Still crazy to think you're a mom, but you are one of the best, I'm sure.
And other mushy stuff.
3 weeks early? Thanksgiving? That's CRAZY! I still keep thinking you're like 5 months pregnant or something. But yay for you!
I feel the same way!! More back pain and pelvic pain. No fun. One day I cleaned out the garage and mopped it, then an hour later I could barely walk! No fun. Let's get these babies out! Sadie will be a good big sister!
