Happy Halloween!

Our ward's Trunk-or-Treat was last Saturday so we dressed Sadie (and ourselves) up, bought some candy and headed on down. When we got there I told David to take me home so I could change because I didn't see any other adults there that had dressed up and I was a little embarassed (yes, I know, I've been told many times that I care too much about what other people think...) David (who, might I mention, I have never been able to get to dress up before this year!) pointed out a couple of adults that had dressed up and told me I was being silly so I sucked it up and we stayed. There ended up being quite a few others that had dressed up (phew!) so I didn't feel too silly. Anyway, we had a lot of fun. The little kiddos were SO cute, and I just love little babies in costumes, the cutest thing ever! (And we might as well dress them up while they let us, right?=)
Sadie was Little Bo Peep! Isn't she the cutest! She did not want to keep her bonnet on! I gave her a package of WHOPPERS (unopened) to suck on and it kept her distracted from the bonnet on her head so we were able to keep it on for awhile!
Sadie and Momma! This is my go-to dress when I don't have a costume for Halloween, some of you might recognize it from Halloweens past, it's been a genie dress, a princess dress, a Meg from Hercules dress, and was originally a bridesmaid dress (Thanks Cec!=). This year it was a fairy princess dress...kinda.
Our happy little family! David was "Hawaiian Punch", you can't see them in the picture but he has boxing gloves on and if you look closely you can see his "black eye."
We carved pumpkins for FHE on Monday night

I just found your blog and keep meaning to talk to you at church, but all the little kids get in the way. :) But I promise we want to invite you over for dinner it has just been a little hectic over here and then with the holidays, who knows when, but definitely sometime. I think you guys are really cute and we want to get to know you better.
