Today I Married My Best Friend...

Four years ago today, David and I started the day single and ended it as newly weds! The day was beautiful, warm with a cloudless blue sky, and the wedding that took place that day was more than any bride could ask for. Not only was it a perfect beautiful wedding, but I married my perfect man, my very best friend in the entire world. The past four years have been a whirlwind and have gone by so fast. We've learned and grown so much together and I am so thankful to have David in my life.

Our Wedding Day!
The first year of our marriage we rented an apartment down by UNLV (in the ghetto! Good times!) =) We both attended the university and wondered why we spent so much time being single! I mean we waited 6 months after David got home from his mission, why did we wait so long??? I mean that's forever in mormon couple's time!=)

Our first anniversary (2006)
2006-2007: We spent out first anniversary in Hawaii (courtesy of David's parents who planned the family reunion in Hawaii that year!) In May we moved up to good ol' Utah for my internship and David started working for Ahern. We loved Utah during the summer and fall months but as soon as the snow came... we decided Utah wasn't for us! =) I graduated in December and we packed up and moved back to Vegas the end of January 2007.

Second Annversary
2007-2008: On our second anniversary David took me to Disney World to celebrate my graduation and our anniversary. In May 2008 David and I found out that we were pregnant and began the preparations for the new addition. We started house hunting and buying baby stuff! We were SOO excited to meet our little Sadie!

Third Anniversary
2008-2009: On our third anniversary I was 9 months pregnant and that was the day my doctor told us that I was going to be induced in 2 days! We were excited but a little scared because we weren't expecting her so early, I wasn't due until the 27th! Sadie arrived on the 17th and we instantly fell in love with her! We closed on our house in February and our little family moved in the 1st of March. 2008 was full of firsts for David and I, it was probably the most challenging yet wonderful year of our marriage and I wouldn't trade any of it for the world!

Fourth Anniversary (Today!!)
2009-2010: This year we were just thankful to have a babysitter! lol! Oh how things change with a little one! Last night David's parents got us tickets to see Bette Midler at Caesars. (Racey show...good music! Thanks Mike and Judy!) David surprised me this morning and announced that he had the day off so we got to spend all day together! We took a walk, played at the park with Sadie, and just enjoyed the day. We dropped Sadie off at mom and dad's and went to P.F. Chang's for dinner and then went shopping (we had to spend our gift cards from Christmas!) It was an amazing day, it was nice to hang out and enjoy each other. As for this year, there's so much to look forward to! Every day is a new adventure! =)
