Sadie decided she wanted to start the day by watching a little playhouse Disney on Mom and Dad's bed, princess of the day gets the remote control! =)
She got to open one present in the morning before breakfast (See n Say and Buddy the farmer, she LOVES her farm animals! =)
I made her mini muffins for breakfast and we sang her "Happy Birthday" (she just looked at us like we were nuts, and then proceeded to try and grab the flame...)
The Strawberry Shortcake cake I made her the night before (This is the first cake I've made like this and nobody warned me how much time and effort go into these things! So now you've been forewarned...=)
The birthday girl!!!
The Elmo live we got her was a big hit with the kiddos! Jackson Mott was so cute, he came and sat down next to us and started blowing Elmo kisses!
"Happy Birthday to you!" (Why are all these people staring at me???)
After a little coaxing Sadie decided to taste the cake. She started out dainty and just picked the icing flowers off the sides, then Daddy came up and showed her she could stick her fingers in it and there was cake underneath, then she started diggin' in!
Hmm...if I can stick my fingers in it...my feet can go in it too!!!
Thanks to everyone who came and helped us celebrate Sadie's special day! (We missed you Aunt Jen and Rook family!)Happy Birthday Sweetheart! We love you tons and bunches!

I have gotta say that you have such a cutie pie. She dark skin and dark brown eyes and dark brown hair reminds me of Jaydee at that age. So fun!!

Looks like you had such a fun day. I can't believe the kids are already a year old.
