We have been having a really hard time with Sadie sleeping at night. I feel bad for her because she has to be thinking "why does Claire get to sleep in your room and I don't" try explaining that to a 2 year old! She's been coming into our room at least 5 or 6 times a night and climbing into bed with us, all after 2 in morning which makes for a super short night when Dave and I don't go to bed until 11. Solution: My Little Ponies as rewards for sleeping all night! My mother is a genius! Sadie loves My Little Ponies and I happened to love them when I was a kid, so my mom wrapped up all my ponies for rewards for Sadie. When she stays in her room all night she gets to pick one out in the morning when she wakes up. Last night she woke up once and went right back to sleep when I told her she wouldn't get a pony. You should have seen her face when she woke up and I came walking in with this...
She was SO thrilled that she got to pick a new pony and couldn't wait to open it up and play with it! Then she kept wanting me to wake Claire up so she could show her her "new" pony.

That is such a cute idea. I, too, have old ponies and barbies and other favorite toys from when I was little...but the wrapping job on your ponies is just so enticing. I'd obey my mom too for a cute present like that! Good thinking.
