I know everyone in Vegas has probably blogged about this by now, but since this is as close to journaling as I get, I have to blog about ittoo! I took Sadie downstairs for breakfast and after our morning ritual of turning on the Christmas tree lights and looking at the ornaments I opened the blinds and...it was snowing! And I don't mean the whimpy tiny, barely there snowflakes, I'm talkin HUGE snowflakes! I was so excited! I bundled Sadie up and took her out to look at the snow (don't worry I only took her out for like 2 minutes! I know some of you are thinking I must be crazy since Sadie's been sick.) She was mesmerized by it, but I couldn't exactly take pictures of her since I was holding her but I did get some pictures of the snow! I called David at work and he said he tried calling me at 5:30 to tell me it was snowing, but I didn't answer my phone...must have been asleep?!?!=) But it has been snowing strong all day and is even sticking to our "grass" (it's turf).

Saturday we went out to Boulder City with my family and rode the Santa Train. It was a nasty windy day but we had a good time. We even got to see the Dunsmoors out there! It's pretty sad we had to drive all the way to Boulder to see people that live on our side of town! lol! We got to the train station around 9:30ish and the only time they had available was 4:00 (and that was an extra time they added!) So we had some time to kill before our train ride. Sam and Sadie thought the train ride was pretty fun. The train was decorated with wreaths and Christmas lights and they thought it was the coolest thing ever. At one point during the ride they both were "singing" together. I got it on video, but since you know I'm retarded in that area, I can't upload it. Here's some pics though!

We loved the snow! Everyone has blogged about the snow, but it's so cool to see. We had a blast playing in it all day.
Train ride? I need the info on that, it looks like a lot of fun.
Hi Amber! Glad you found our blog!It is crazy how fast our little babies are growing! This year really has flown by! Love the pics of Sadie in her cute jacket. We will have to get the girls together to play soon! Hope you guys have a Merry Christmas!
Hey Amber, man will you guys stop having so much fun at the doctors. We would like to hang out with you guys...lol. Looks like you had fun looking at the snow too. We thought about you when we made our little snowman. Well get better soon Sadie.
I thought I could get there just before 9am to buy tickets for the 10 o'clock ride. We ended riding at 12 and just 'hanging out' at awesome BC. Santa looks like he'd been doing a days worth of train rides in that picture. LOL. The ride was soooo slow with beauuuutiful desert scenery and trash blowing everywhere. Sure put me in the Christmas mood. Maybe I'm just a Grinch, but I'll put this on my list of "never do again". Even Kobi turned to me during the ride and said, "Dad, this is kinda lame". ha-ha. The train ride in Williams, AZ was a lot better, it's just farther and more expensive.
It's funny we saw you there. I was surprised how much time Santa spent with everyone. Maybe someday Sadie will like Santa. :)
