We came home Wednesday afternoon and I told Dave, "uh-oh" we didn't insulate our pipes so they don't freeze! So as you can see my wonderful husband went out, as is, in his shorts and t-shirt to wrap our pipes!Friday, December 19, 2008
More Snow!
I'm a little late on this one, but Wednesday afternoon we were bombarded with more snow here in the valley. We got "so much" snow that they declared Thursday a "snow day" and all the schools in Clark County were closed! I think it was due to people not knowing how to drive in the snow more than the snow itself. Less people on the road = less accidents, right?

Better late then never, I say!! I loved the snow and we had way too much fun in it.
I hate to break it to you, but I don't think your plum tree is going to make it. It's probably thinking, "AH! I'm freezing to death! Vegas was supposed to be warm and toasty!"
Jack's coming down with me for Christmas. I'm excited! Hopefully the snow will still be around and for the first time in my life I'd have a white Christmas in Vegas.
Amber - hey there! You have quite the cute little girl - how fun! Enjoy the snow - we only get ice and sleet in Dallas...I'd much rather have snow. Though, I'm with you that the heat is best!
